Vivian Maier (circa 1953/55)

Last year, I visited my then gentleman and he took me to her exhibit in the Chicago Cultral center. It had to have been one of my happiest days. The photographs were stunning, breathtaking. And his low gentle voice told me what he knew, and I remembered the soft insides of the gloves he was wearing, and our boots together on the stairs, and the pictures he captured, and how beautifully happy I looked.
